Eligibility Criteria

Booking and Payment Details

The total payment and security deposit are generally required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where relevant. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pick-Up and Drop-Off

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of the rental vehicle:
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials or substances is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized individuals to drive is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes, and passenger and weight limits must not be exceeded. Operating the vehicle outside of the agreed geographical boundaries requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed under English and Welsh law, Car Hire Workington is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
